PEL-SIL SQ-2050 is an easy to handle, quaternary modified organosilicone fluid that, due to its cationic nature, is substantive to surfaces. It finds use in fabric softening, car wash products, and dye leveling. In car wash, it helps to shed rinse water. It is a persistent fabric softener so it finds use at the mill level. PEL-SIL SQ-2050, being substantive to surfaces is a good hydrophobizing agent and antistatic agent. PEL-SIL SQ-2050 is an essentially 100% active liquid.
